Or you can do it the southern way and have them called Miss Kristin or Mr Larry. A lot of the kids in my family grew up that way and some of my neighbors' kidlets here still call me Miss Genie. It sounds kinda schoolteacherish but it's cute.
I say go for it.....it's your life. My friend Judi from HS is very marriage-phobic because of her parents' disaster, and she has been with Dave for like 15 years, they have 2 kids and are fine. I think the kids use his last name, I am not sure......but as far as the last name mixup, if you marry someone with kids there's going to be a blending of last names anyhow.
