I suffer from asthma and been using Advair to treat my illness. I read in the newspapers about Advair, they say the drug should be taken off the market because it increases the possibility of death. Is this true? And if so, what should I do?

Advair is a popular asthma drug which reduces symptoms of asthma, allowing you to sleep peacefully during the night, work out and live a normal life. But, according to some analysis, Advair also increases a risk of the long-acting bronchodilators affect, hospitalization and even death. In 2005. the FDA has allowed Advair to stay on the market, as long as the warning labels are clearly marked. We are talking about the “black box” warning, which is the most extreme warning for drugs. Considering that more than 3.5 million of patients use Advair, the possibility for that drug to be taken off the markets is raising. With such a potential risk, Advair is a drug that should be prescribed only when other drugs are insufficient for a pacient. I you have noticed any side effect while using Advair, consult your doctor at once.
