Can a woman after the age of 40 take the pill, if so which? and if that has any side effects?
Hi:
The answer is yes. I'd like to know what connection you are making between the age of 40 and taking the pill. There is no connection. Forty is still relatively young, despite what society would have you believe. If you heard this from a doctor, I would suggest switching doctors. I hope that you have decided on a method of BC. All of the chemicals, i.e. pills, etc. have a lot of the same chemicals. The side effects will also be similar. Some of those symptoms would be irregular cycles at the beginning, and the risks that you would find find on the packaging. Please let me know what you've decided. I hope that all is well with you.
