I was diagnosed with HIV 3 years ago. Some really bad warts are starting to appear on my anus. May I use Aldara for anal warts treatment?
I wouldn’t treat warts with Aldara. It has some side effects, like redness and additional itching around the area you are putting on (anal area), so it would not make any contribution to your case. I have very bad experience with aldara, I even got scares on my testicles. I used it for a month and got this terrible sores and flakes, which itched me like hell. Later I noticed little scares on the base of my penis and testicles. Since them my skin is many times red and irritated and at that time it itches me when I urinate, and also sometimes when I have sex.
I am very sorry that I ever used it.
