So thanks to my fear of pregnancy I decided to try anal sex. (no condom stupid I know)
It was wonderful of course but now I'm terrified of being pregnant.

I'm on birth control and I've already had my period (my periods have been getting lighter, so this light period that lasted for 3 days didn't concern me).
However, lately, when I sit down for a long period of time I feel like a tingling in my urethra. It sometimes like a strong need to use the bathroom.

Is this just a symptom of another UTI (I get them frequently) or is this a concern for pregnancy?

thank you.
I know this question was posted last year, however, I feel the need to reply.

Being careful is good... but you sound neurotic. You're on birth control and you've had your period after sex. You're not pregnant.

If you're taking your birth control on schedule, your chances of getting pregnant from vaginal intercourse are next to null... Your chances of getting diseases are significantly greater...

You need to concentrate less on pregnancy and more on your own physical and mental health.

Yep, responding to a reply much later but for the  sake of someone who may have a similar circumstance. Poor response on the part of the replier. As someone who engaged TWO types of birth control ,had a cycle immediately following sex AND turned out to be pregnant all the same, I promise you that that combination is no guarantee that pregnancy is not a possibility. The only dependable, true answer to the pregnancy question is testing by medical personnel. Sometimes the cycle does not stop immediately. It depends on how close the sex was to the due date. With regard to birth control, even the best is something like 93% effective. That sounds great until you do the actual math. 93% effectiveness means that for approximately every 14 instances of sex your correctly utilized birth control stands the chance of failing. 14 is not a large number.

The only thing the respondent got right was that professional assistance was needed. If not for the pregnancy question then for the progressively lighter cycle.
