Hi, I am interested to know what kind of disorder is anisocoria. My boyfriend has been diagnosed with this condition.
Hi, anisocoria is a condition characterized by an unequal size of the pupils. Anisocoria is found very frequently in about 20% of population, to a mild degree. In this form it is called "simple anisocoria." Still, anisocoria can be an symptom of other disorders. Horner syndrome or a lesion of the oculomotor nerve are characterised with anisocoria. If your boyfriend has applied a transdermal scopolamine patch this can be the reason for anisocoria, as it induces it. But it will go away within 3 days.
