I had c6 and c7 done thru the front in 1990. Have had 23 good years. Now my neck is a mess. i have a weak rt arm and the numbness in my rt arm. It's been 3 months. Dr gave me 2 options, fuse c4 and c5 thru front which should fix my problem or go thru back and do 4,5,6,7 and fix the curve issue but giving me no guarantee that it would fix the problem I have now ( can't see the nerve exits thru back?) I'm 51, rather not do another fusion in 5 years. My neck has a reverse curve ( curves to the back) My first Dr attempted to change my curve but my new Dr realized I have a genetic malformity in my neck and upper spine. Anyhow now above and below my original fusion the discs are toast. Any suggestions?
