Hello, I had a Leep done yesterday and just wanted to share my story. I have been having abnormal paps on and off for about 4 or 5 years. They are always low grade but since they are not returning to normal my doctor suggested a Leep. When I found out I had to have a Leep done I was a nervous reck. I just want you to know that even though you are reading this looking on the internet at all the horror stories is the worst thing you can do. Try not to stress. Try to stay relaxed and maybe even take someone with you for support. My doctor was really nice. He talk to me through out the whole procedure and it was pretty quick and mostly painless. The only part I felt was him numbing it and even that wasn't that bad. After they numbing I didn't feel a thing. It took maybe 10 to 15 minutes. I was sore after and had a little spotting but no cramping for me. I took an extra day off just to make sure I was resting properly. I know everyone's experience is different but try not to think the worse. I scared myself way more than I needed to. Hope this helps someone.
