I got prescription for some antihistamine drug for treating my allergies. I was about to use it but a friend of my told me no to because of possible addiction problems. Now, I am not sure what to do. I ask my doctor for advice, but she told me that if I have doubts about her therapy, I should switch to another doctor. Do you have any advice? Are antihistamines addictive?
Yes, antihistamines are addictive. I am so mad because no one said or wrote something about this issue. I went throw a hell before I was able to be myself again, and all that because of lack of information about antihistamines. For allergies you must take those medications too long too often and you would end up addicted. Try to find some other doctor and some other medicine.
