What you're describing is exactly what I have. Your right back is stretched out and your right chest is tightened up to counter the rotation of your spine. Your right side of abs feels bigger because it is tighter than the left side to trying to, once again, counter the rotation of your spine. What you need to do is stretch out your right chest muscles and do some stretches to lengthen the concave side of your condition. Proceed with caution. I am no doctor, but I am 99% sure we are suffering from the same condition.

Yes! I wondered about this I am also 15 and I remember noticing my left side of my chest stuck out farther when I was 13. It wasn't too bad but it has gotten worse I can tell. It feels weird when I sleep on it and the rib bone is "flat" on the left. What should I do?

so does anyone know why it feels like the left side feels like its pushing out and larger than the right and maybe only noticable to you but not to others? also flexing your abs it looks like the left top ab is bigger than the right?

Its caused by a small cervicothoracic curve in the spine that causes the chest wall and the rib cages to be uneven. The curve can be left (left side further out) or right (right sidr stick out). There isn't really a fix for it persay since the chest wall defect is likely congenital meaning present at birth. I find sleeping on my back with no pillows a pretty good way to try to even out the muscles as much as possible to prevent muscle imbalances. Swimming also helps. I wouldn't recommend benching since it exacerbates the uneveness of the chest. I have a left thoracic curve around 18 degrees and had an mri and ct scan to rule out any abnormalities. All came back normal, go see your doctor if you're concerned. I also plan on pursuing the nuss procedure to fix the uneveness hopefully sometime in the future when I have the money. Any questions just ask and I'd be glad to answer.

The twisting is from a really tight right lower or mid back depending which way you curve goes. Stand feet together, make sure your pelvis isn't rotated, then reach toward your toes to stretch everything that makes you "twist". Play around with it. Took me a year and a half of being in bed all day to figure this stretch out lmfao

Dude i have same problem my my right side chest is bigger then left side but don' t think our selfes as physically unfit . We can do all those things which a physically fit person can , this deformity will never cause any problem to us unless we accept it .we have to accept this then only we don't get any mental depression .

Everything that you said happened to me even about the weight lifting and it pisses me off that I have it but the doctor said the only way they could fix it is to break your bones and put them in the right spot so I wasn't gonna do that

I have this condition. The solution is to change your spinny chairs to regular chairs so your body can completely support itself on a concrete object. It is part of scoliosis.

I once had this problem too. It may be caused because you exercise just for one side or i mean your muscles are only trained for left part or right part (one of them). Then you feel more comfortable in your current position, this is what caused the lump (what i think).

To fix it, you'll need to excercise the other part (based on my case, its the side with the "lump"). Then try to set your sitting and sleeping positions. Don't try to correct by set it to your most comfortable position, but try to measure your posture while doing it

Hope this will help, the results won't be seen soon.

My left side of my chest is bigger then the right side, I told my parents about the pain waking me up and how it hurt so much I cried, the took me to the doctor . They said I could have surgery to fix it. I'm now older and wanting to do the surgery. I should be a very long time before I get back on my feet.
