Can atvian help in restoring health? I have been on atvian during last 10 months. I’m on 0.5 mg daily. How safe would it be to keep on with the therapy? Does it cause dependence?
Ativan causes addiction. But it would not be safe to stop with therapy suddenly. It is recommended to decrease the dose slowly. Some medications like prozac and Zoloft are used during withdraw. But are you recommended to stop with the therapy? I guess that some types of anxiety are successfully cured with atvian, but it is very variable and individually monitored therapy.
