Hello! Can anybody tell me the technique of treating backache with tennis balls? It would mean so much to me. My backache usually starts when I wake up. I don’t know if it’s because of my bed or I because I don’t cover myself well, the point is that I suffer backache almost every morning, especially if I sleep longer.
I would suggest you to have your back checked before doing any self-treatment. Tennis-balls massage can only make your problems worse if there is a spinal problem. I will tell you about it anyway, but be carefull, ok? Besides the balls, you need a sock. Put the balls in the sock and tie it, so that the balls are touching each other. Lie on the floor and place the balls under your back, one ball on each side of your spine. . Rock your hips from side to side. Then move your body slightly so that the balls move up your back a few inches. Hold that position briefly, then take a deep breath. When you feel a sense of softening or melting into the balls, move them farther up your back. Do it for about 15 minutes. You can do some stretching before you start with the massage.
