I was using the birth control pills method but I forgot to take 2 pills during the month, I had the 18th, 19th and 20th pill on time, the night I took the 20th pill, my partner's condom broke. I got to excited and took the morning after pill after 6 hours. now I am waiting my periods and I am one day late. Is it normal and healthy and is there a possibility that I am pregnant? It might be a miracle I guess. ( I am 22)
There really isn't much chance that you are pregnant, considering that you are on birth control (and the longer you are, the more protection you have, even when you skip pills) and that you took morning after pill almost immediately - so, it would be a mega-miracle. But yes, the dosage of hormones in the morning after pill is much much bigger than in BC pills, but those still are the same/similar hormones and it is definitely not strange at all that your period is late - the hormones have stopped your ovulation (for now) and it will take time until the hormones from the morning after pill clear up from your body.
