She hasnt given me any information as to the specifics of this surgery is it done as an outpatient surgery, is it a day surgery, or is it another hospital stay. I would like to have the information to decide before I have to make up my mind.
I would appreciate any additional information you can give me.

Hi,
It is unfortunate that you are having these complications in your body. I really don’t know anybody that had bladder tacking, so I can’t share any personal stories. However I know that here are several ways to do the bladder tacking. You can do it by a surgical operation or by the injections. However I know that injections are really not recommended for women who are older than 60 years of age. How old are you? The surgical method is very effective and safe, so I think that this is a really good option. You will have to go through the recovery period but after this your bladder should be fine. I hope this helped a bit.

I hope everything went well with your surgery. I just recently had a partial abdominal hysterectomy and bladder tack. I leaked everyday when I coughed, sneezed, laughed or by just plain walking. I also have severe bleeding (hence the hysterectomy). I had a complications afterwards. I went in for surgery and planned on staying overnight. I ended up staying 4 days. I came home and had the worst gas pains Ive ever dealt with which makes the bladder surgery almost impossible to tolerate. I felt pain when I urinated and it seemed like I would go very frequently. I'm now on week 3 and a half after surgery and the gas is 75% gone. The pain when urinating is almost none. I still feel bloated and feel like I have to go more than before the surgery but it's tolerable. I go for my surgery follow up next Wednesday and I am sure I will find that everything went according to plan.
