Can you please tell me if it is normal to have bleeding traces one week or 10 days after menstral cycle.
It depends on what kind of traces. For example, many women experience bloody discharge after their periods and this is considered to be normal, especially if it lasts just a couple of days after a period.

If it were bloody spotting and lasted for over a week, that could rise some suspicions.

It all depends if this is the first time it is happening or it has been happening for the last couple of periods. You age may also be important, as well as your health condition and your family history.

This kind of bleeding reminds me of uterine polyps, benign growths that usually cause spotting between periods, excessive periods, spotting after intercourse and bleeding right after your period ended.

Your gynecologist may decide to look inside your uterine cavity and check for polyps using either x-rays, hysteroscope or sonohysterogram. Hysteroscope may be also used to remove the polyps. Once the polyp(s) is removed, they rarely return but other may arise.

It is important to see a gynecologist to have it checked, also a papa smear would be a good idea to see if anything else may not be in order.
