For about the last two months I have been bleeding from having an orgasm. The stimulation was only clitoral. There was no penetration of any kind, so no chance of scratching or tearing inside the vagina. It does not only happen around the time I am getting my period. Could this be a sign that of a larger problem? I'm very worried. Please let me know what you think. Thanks.

This happens to me as well. I have been trying to do some research but no luck. I am wondering if maybe there is some build up on the uterus or at the cervix. When we orgasm the cervix opens up and lets blood out...I am not sure this is just a guess....please doctors, help us out!

dont feel bad i have the same problem but i dont anymore. i havent had a regular period either since i was 13 i might have one once a year if that and its really bad when i do i have no idea whats wrong maybe PCOS. even when there was no penetration i still bled and it made me mad i wish i knew what the problem was

I have found that the past 4 months I have had this problem - bleeding after sex and clitoral orgasms - turns out I may have what they call erosion of the cervix - it happens sometimes because of the depo vera and contraceptive pill - I was fine on the pill it's the injection that's doing this to me. I was so scared and have had many painful tests.

Hey to the last person that posted on here did you get your results back yet? I have only just started having this problem the past 3 weeks and i am on the Deop shot too, however ive bled once or twice after having sex with my boyfriend but have not noticed that problem for a while now it only seems to happen after clitoral orgasms. I have only had ONE Depo shot and im due my next in january, could my problem be that im just spotting as its my first shot?. Ive only just started looking into it and there are plenty of forums across the internet but all giving different information and im too embarrassed to talk to my doctor about it but i suppose ill have to if i can find no feedback. What if you have had a subtotal hysterectomy. Can the cervical contractions cause bleeding too if there is no uterus?

I have been searching for answers and not having much luck. I seem to be in the same situation. I am pre-menapause and I have not had my menstral cycle now for 3 months. I actually have taken 2 pregnacy tests to be sure... both negative. The other night, while with my husband I had several mutiple clitoral orgasms .. one after another when we were done and I was in the washroom exhausted, he called to me asking if I was bleeding, when I checked I was indeed bright red and there were two clots in the toilet (not to be gross) on the bed it was a light pink mixed in with well you know... two days later I am still bleeding but not enough to use a tampon. It is only there when I wipe. It has been a mix of bright red to a brownish to very light. I am very concerned by this - this has NEVER happened to me before. Please help.

Likewise this happens to me,but I think it is because the clitoris is rubbed too hard so creates some friction. This causes our skin to scratch and tare,which causes the blood. I think it should just scab over and repair itself,but don't assert too much pressure,as this shows you have a sensitive clitoris. Hope it gets better, as this has me worrying too.
Hi there. You get contractions in your vagina when you orgasm so this is most likely just pushing any existing blood out rather than any rubbing on your clitoris causing a scratch. Best to get a doctor to take a look. It could be that you have a cervical erosion which is harmless but can lead to bleeding after sex. I had one after years on the pill. You might need a quick out-patient procedure at the hospital to cauterise it, if that's what it is. But get it checked out asap. Are up to date with your smear tests?
