Hey all, I have a blood blister inside my mouth, and have made a dentist appointment.  Do this, or find a local denstistry school or medical school (if local), and get it taken care of.  They occur because of many reasons, sometimes burns inside your mouth (eating pizza to quick), or getting something stuck in your teeth.

This happened to me today, on this post looking for info. Totally painless, in fact I have no idea how long it was there. I found it accidentally while brushing my teeth. I freaked out initially, but given it didn't hurt, I attempted to pop it, like a pimple. A little blood came out, still painless. It's now 6 hours later and there is literally no trace of it. No pain, can't even see a mark of any kind. It was on the inside of my cheek. Hope his helps, I was definitely concerned initially. Seems to be no issue now.

My husband has something similar and the doctor said it is a fungus. He has more than one and they are under his tounge and in the jaw area. The doctor gave him a topical cream to coat his tounge but that did not seem to work so he call the dentist and the dentist perscribed a mouth wash called "Magic Mouthwash" and that is the only thing that has helped him. Call your dentist and ask him about it.

So I'm super scared because my problem is similar I know it's not an STD or anything like that because I haven done anything but what I'm scared about is how when I popped it it didn't hurt it only hurts when I apply any kind of pressure on it , I got it after sharing a drink with a friend and late went to the school nurse to find out that it was nothing also she didn't even check it she jus told me that and kept eating , I have an appointment for tomorrow but this blister iv had for about a month it's behind my front teeth its as if I can feel the tip of the root ( I think it is) if I pop it blood comes out . Or if I suck air inward and suck it starts bleeding . Does anyone know? I haven't done anything I randomly got this

I ahve the same thing, especially when I eat certain types of crisps or Bread with the hard crust like french loaf, on my tongue as wel as the rest of the inside of my mouth. Really horrible as if i do not pop them, they grow larger as they continue to bleed, causing stress on the surrounding tissue. This makes the area ache for days afterwards. If I pop them, whcih I now do carefully with a sharp poined knife, they heal up without the associated pain. I though perhaps it was chemicals in the food causing it, but maybe it is just sharp types of food like crisps and crispy rolls.

you got a canker sore from the trauma of re-biting the same area, it's really painful, you can gurgle with salt water but don't try to squeeze or pop it you'll be sorry. they have over the counter canker sore stuff to coat, numb and protect it. it will go away but sometimes takes a while. just be careful what you eat because certain foods can irritate it.

I had the exact same thing from eating chips. It felt like a piece of the chip was stuck to the roof of my mouth but there wasn't any chip there. Immediately, a large, blood filled blister occurred. After a few minutes, it popped on it's own and I had to spit out a lot of blood. Afterwards, it felt much better but the area remained sore for several days. I believe it is simply caused by trauma to the sensitive lining of the mouth and am careful now about what I eat.

I've gotten these too. They usually go away if I rinse my my mouth with an antiseptic like Listerine after I brush my teeth. If I do that before bed time, its usually gone by morning..

I have just been brushing my teeth. All of a sudden I felt something at the top roof of my mouth. It seems it looks like a blood blister. It doesn't hurt but feels strange feeling it there when I swallow. I don't think it wise to pop it. At the moment I am going through all kinds of termoil in my life, so maybe this is because of stress. Does anyone know of another way to help get rid of this thing safely. What about Salt water, or mouth wash.
