Recently, I had discovered a lump on the underside of my left testicle. I went to the doctor and he ordered me to have an ultrasound. The results showed a blood clot on my left testicle. I was told it would reabsorb into the body and not to worry about it. It has now been 2 months and the blood clot hasn't changed a bit. I am worried as I now do not have health insurance and don't know what to do. Are there anyways I can help make or make it reabsorb. How long does it usually take to reabsorb? Also, it is starting to cause slight sharp pain in my left testicle only. Usually very brief, a few seconds and it goes away. Please help! :-(

Go to the Doc have them do an ultrasound to make sure it's a clot then go from there. If it is a blood clot warm baths for 20 to 30 minutes 2 times a day and ibuprofen is what I am reading. I had a vasectomy and have a good size hematoma myself. What I told you above is what I'm doing to help dissolve it.

My nephew has just been diagnosed with spermatic testicle vein thrombosis, which is a blood clot on his left testicle. He has to go back to the doctor to try and resolve this ASAP as the doctor told him the clot could go to his lung and cause him all kinds of problems. The cause could be a rare clot disease (I don't know exactly what this disease is called but there has only been 25 cases reported in the world since 1994), So if I were any of you I would go and see a doctor ASAP I wouldn't mess around with this, as this could actually become fatal if left untreated.
