I though I was getting a foot-toe cramp. It was pin pointed just above my second toe. The pain was a strong 9 on the scale. There was NO walking. It would start to relax and then start all over again only the centralized point would move a little distance toward the outside of my foot all the way along my foot and up the back of my heal.
I took an Equate 325 mg aspirin. The pain lessened but I could feel it a couple places in the lower calf. Today my foot is just sore.
2 1/5 years ago this happened to me in the middle of the night. At first I tried to walk it off, thinking it was just a night cramp.... I remember thinking the pain was much sharper and in such a tiny spot than any cramp I had ever had, not like a muscle- more like a needle stabbing.
When the sharpness lessened enough I headed back for bed, I was hit by a what felt like a small expolision in my head. I lost my balance and slide to the floor, vision was very foggy, sound was distored, I was unable to move more than a little finger and there was no speach. I could think random thoughts. I felt I was sure I was having a stroke. What seemed like for ever went by and I started to come out of it.
Not able to think clearly, I crawled into bed. I was a little groggy in the morning but I did go to the doctor. He through I had a TA stroke but did not think the foot pain precceding was involved.
Have you any Idea????????
While this could simply be a cramp, what you described sounds as though it may of a much more serious nature. Get to your doctor and discuss the details ASAP.
