You probably have PCOS. This causes you not to ovulate each month, so you build up tissue each month, resulting in a D & C. I am here to tell you that there is an answer. I have PCOS, and I have 4 children. You need to go on birth control so that you can stop the tissue build up cycle. After you have been on a few months, go off and try to get pregnant that first month it two. If you do not get pregnant, go back on the pill for a few months and then try again.

Sweetheart go to the emergency room and make sure you have not lost too much blood to the point of becoming anemic. In the meantime drink plenty of water to keep your hydration up and by some iron pills over the counter and be sure to take it with orange juice so it will breakdown in your body. It sounds like you may have menorrhagia.

Hi I am 18 years old and didnt have a period for over a year , so I went to the doctor and she put me on birthcontrol. A month later I started my period and I have been bleeding for 2 weeks straight heavy and huge size blood clots. I have never had this many blood clots in my life. Could it be from the birthcontrol ? Should I go see my doctor?

Is it normal to get a period with heavy bleeding and to have a lot of blood clots? I go through pads like every 1 hour.

Hello, I'm concerned about my cycle. It started last month, and I'm still on it. Not really bleeding heavy, but passing clots. Could it be because I'm sort of addicted to ice and ice-cold water?

I just turned 47 & I've had my period for the last 2 weeks. This last week I've seen quarter-size blood clots & yesterday I started bleeding very heavily. What's this mean & what, should, or can I do? Start of menopause?
