I'm a new amputee just below knee 4 in. or 5in. I've lost movement in my knee and doctors says it needs to be removed.But doesn't seem to be moving fast to do so.I now have the bone showing out the bottom of stump.MY question is this dangerous to me because of infection?Or am I just being over worried.Any help would be niece.

Are you sure that you are actually seeing the bone? Are you diabetic? Do you feel any pain?
This needs to be taken care of now. Having a wound like this will lead to infection called osteomyelitis. It can spread.
Get yourself to the ER or call your doctor ASAP.
