I have chronic tendonitis/muscle spasms and am also Celiac. The author of this book is Celiac and almost lost her music career due to severe muscle spasm/tendonits. She learned that basically her body was robbing Peter to pay Paul...it was robbing nutrition from her muscles/tendons to keep her vital organs going. When she went on the diet she discribes in this book "Performance Without Pain", it took her a year or more to see results but now she is pain free. I am slowly working into this to see if I can cure my pain issues and improve my bone loss which is also a result of Celiac. I highly recommend this book. Also I recommend the book she recommends "Nourishing Traditions". I am looking forward to seeing improvement on this diet.

Have you started seeing results with your new diet? I'm 30 years of age and have been dealing with severe tendinitis in my wrists and elbows, for about 2 years. All the Dr.'s keep saying I'm to young to be having this problem. I did some research on my own and found out that it could be caused by an autoimmune problem. I looked up all of the disorders and I think I have Celiac. Was tendonitis the only symptom you had and was then tested for Celiac? I'm planning on getting tested soon. I would be relieved if I had Celiac, so I could begin to rid myself of this tendonitis. Hope your doing well.
I've had chronic tendinitis in the past, and with some rest and using one of these about 15 minutes a day for about 2 - 3 months it improved a lot to the point where as long as I stretch sometimes and unless I use the computer a lot I'm usually pretty pain free.
All the best with it,
