It's actually the opposite in ovulation. During ovulation your cervical mucus becomes very thin and clear to make a more suitable environment for sperm to swim. After ovulation it becomes thicker and clumpier and more acidic to make it harder for bacteria to thrive.
Hi everyboody, I've had the issue described in this thread for years now, and I just wanted to share what I've found lately: the discharge for me seems to be diminishing significantly since I've cut completely lactose and gluten from my diet. I'm not quite sure, but I guess for me this discharge might be a symptom of celiac disease + lactose intolerance. I'll keep on following a lactose free and gluten free diet to see if my guess is right. I hope this can be of help for someone else, too.
I'm actually only 16 and I get this too. It has no small and sometimes it's clear sometimes it's cloudy. Never itchy or anything. Definitely not pregant. I think it might be normal to be honest?
If it were ovulating the mucus would be clear and stretchy like egg whites. Not white and thick.
Allie,
With the problems you are having have you been on a human growth hormone or a steroid? Some times that can change everything with a woman's body I'm sure your doctor will know more, I've been going through similar issues, I wish you the best

mine happens everyday. its actually an indicator that im about to have a movement. its very strange. whats wrong with us guys? lol good to know im not alone. i actually get a backache with mine n after a movement it goes away
Several things may cause discharge . It isn't bad . Toxins and etc need to leave the body out of somewhere & threw there is one way ,if not an accumulation of a long period of time mucus would be trapped in the body and that's what causes us to have re occurring yeast infections or any other type of infection .....its normal . When you have a bowl movement , since our cervix is close to the anus area as well when we push , what ever that's there including fluids etc comes out . Hope this helps
Hi, how is your new diet going - any success in stopping the problem?have you noticed any improvement since you kept away from lactose and gluten? Hope you have found a solution to your problems.
Yes, I've noticed an improvement. The discharge has'nt stopped completely, but in the last 2 months it seems to have diminished and I hope it will continue like this...
Mines the same way, no clue what causes it
I believe it could possibly be BV. Look it up, nothing too serious but usually needs antibiotics
That sounds like a cervical mucous. That the discharge you produce naturally when ovulating
Did you ever find out what it was?
Hi im 16 and had that problem for as long as I can remember it always happens when I have bowl movement and im not pregnant for sure I think may just be normal
I'm having the same problem did you ever figure out what the problem was ?
