What happened when you seen your doctor?

This is so relieving to know I'm not alone! It happens on occasion with me and I couldn't tell if it was from my vagina or anus but definitely seems like it's from my vagina. I've suffered with constipation for years! Usually this will happen when I have a particularly difficult bowl movement, but sometimes happens with normal ones. Regardless it's just nice to know that it's really quite normal :)

Hi Allie I have the same exact problem I have a tumor under the skin between my rectum and vagina but it hurts me a lot and I feel like I have to poop all the time but the only thing that happenes is a long string of discharge comes out and I still feel like I have to poop. I do have endometriosis I was thinking it might be something to do with that I know I’m having issues pooping and it’s not regular consistency I’ve tried everything from morals to Metamucil and all they have done is cramp me up and made things worse had a colonoscopy only found two polyps other then that everything was fine any answers you get let me know thank you hope all goes well and they figure this out for all the people suffering from this

It’s okay it’s completely normal. The vagina is a self cleaning organ so it releases discharge to clean itself out..

Hi
Same! I just turned 18 and not pregnant. I face the same problem after using pessary to treat thrush. It all started with thrush and then UTI after my periods. Then I found this heavy, thick and slimy discharge hanging during my bowel movement. I thought this was thrush again and treated it again. After my 3rd month period it started again, I did some research and found out about uterine prolase. I followed the instruction and did self assessment but can't find anything.

Also I lost my weight after thrush (IDK how? probably due to my diet change?).
I tried avoiding lactose (milk) it quite reduced but I'm still not sure if there are any changes.

Also the flow of my periods (days) have been shorter, it was usually 3 days of heavy flow but now it 2 day. There still brown dischage after my periods but after bowel movement.

I did everything to maintain my hygiene but it still doesn't help. Does anyone have tips to solve thus problem, thus is really effecting my daily life. HELP!

Yes, this is happening to me, as well. I recent had a hysterectomy (still have both ovaries) in June 2024. The discharge with a BM started a couple months later (around August). It's white and thick, but no smell, no burning, and no itching, although there is a slight irritation feeling before my BM.

I want to ask my gyn, but I don't want to be misdiagnosed and told to take meds if I really don't need them.

This is so strange, as none of this happened prior to my hysterectomy.
