Brown discharge and burning sensation after intercourse is what has happened to me last time I had sex. Ok, I admit-it was unprotected but I thought he was safe. Do my symptoms necessarily indicate an STD? Please, write back as soon as possible, so I can make my move and see a doctor if necessary

It is necessary for you to see a doctor even if it’s not an STD. In my case, I had burning sensation twice in my life. Once it was UTI-urinary tract inflammation and the 2nd time it was gonorrhea. Both of the conditions caused by bacteria, so I would say you have an inflammation and should see a doctor right away, so you wouldn’t develop further complications. Unfortunately, I am not acquainted with brown discharge except for menstrual.

Okay...I had just gotten cured for pelic inflamitory disease. Took the pills like I was supposed to, got my period, and after my period when I have sex now, it burns bad. What could this be?
