hi i am 16 about a few days after me and my boyfriend had protected sex and im not on the pill i started getting this thick dark brown discharge in my underwear and had some cramps but i have not qot my period what does this mean

Hi honey! As long as it was protected you are just experiencing "vaginal bleeding" which can happen at ANY time in your cycle! It is caused mainly by an increase in hormones! It is similar to a mini period, and bascially a similar concept! But it can happen once and never happen again, or a couple of times a year! NOW that been said, IF you feel sick or nauseous in a couple of weeks you need to get a HPT! To rule out pregnancy! Because SOMETIMES you can have a thing called "implantation bleeding" Which is brown and old lining of the uterus, that has fallen away when the fertilized egg has implanted into the uterus!
