brownish discharge 2 weeks before period

From what you’ve told I really can’t tell is that normal or not. On the other hand, it is not unusual for women to have “colored” discharge during ovulation period. That is pretty normal. This pinkish/brownish color is probably blood and there is probably just a little of it so it just tones your discharge. If you want to be sure about it, you can visit your dr just to check.

I have been having brown discharge some times it is pinkish and looks like blood other times its just plain old brown ..this has been going on 4 about 2 weeks now and my period isn't until another week...I was wondering if this is a infection or if it could be do from my birth contorl pills..There is also itching from time to time ..

ok, so im 15 year old and im somewhat sexually active. i've done pretty much every thing besides intercourse. for the past 3 or 4 days ive noticed a light brown "goo" coming from my vaginal area. Im getting very concerned about what this stuff is. im not taking birth control and i know im not pregnant . i would ask my doctor but i dont want my parents knowing that im sexually active.if it is an infection is there a way i could treat it? help!

The brown "goo" could mean that you are ovulating or that your period is coming soon. I have had brownish smears after wiping but my period is not due for a couple of weeks. If you are sexually active you need to get a pap every year! No if's and's or but's about it. Just to make sure everything is going well down there. Also are you using any form of protection? If not get on that ASAP! You never know what your partner(s) are carrying. You should talk to your parents, they will probably be mad at first, but at least they can help you. I am 29 yrs. old and I feel it's better late then never. BTW whatever goes on in the Dr's office is totally confidential. At least talk to your doc about the situation. Hope this helps.

brown discharge for 1 and half years before and after periods, told doctor he thinks i'm not getting rid of everything and wants me to take meds to stop cycle for 6 months. I refused to do that. Now i'm sick to my stomach and stopped having cycle for 2 months but still have brown discharge. had 2 ultrasounds one they thought was a blood clot the 2nd a tumor. had an mri no tumor and they dont know what it is but could be three things a tumor with no blood supply, non cancer, or cancer. they want to go in and get a sample to test. But i was told the reason for the mri was for the tumor and i would have an ure. the morning of the mri i started my cycle for 2 days and now the brown discharge again. Now i'm thinking after 3 c-sections maybe its a gauze left behind. i dont want a sample taken if it is cancer because i'm afraid it will spread??? help???
