I am having the same issues, with a few more factors contributing or maybe causing this. I am currently on chemotherapy & have had a multitude od WEIRD occurances while they are pumping me full of toxins (chemo meds). I ran 3 miles yesterday & as soon as i stepped off the treadmill the sneezing started & a nontolerable pain & burning in my left nostril (sinus). My nose has been running eversince but its clear. Dont laugh but i had to sleep with cotton & vaseline shoved up my nose to be able to sleep. Any air that passes thru Burns like crazy & makes my eye twinge & water & run. I know that my immune system is down due to the chemo meds (T/C) so I thought maybe my body isnt able to fight off the entity thats attached to my sinuses, though im taking Allegra D. There HAS to be some kind of nasal spray relief out there... The saline stuff just dries it out more. Ive had a couple of bloody noses during this treatment but even when that occurred there wasnt this kind of pain. Please HELP!! Im dealing with enough being Bald & recovering from breast cancer surgery & chemo treatments.

Hello everyone, I've started a support community for this undiagnosed condition.  The forum is especially made for this condition which at the moment seems to be very difficult to solve....If only everyone that clicked on "Me too " button at the top of this page would be part of the support community now! I think we could have figured it out by now...

I have gathered a lot of information, but unfortunately I'm at the moment in the wrong location of the world and can't have access to the doctors that have treated similar problems... but I'd be happy to share with you the information I've found(there is a rubric in the community forum where I'm posting everything I find) Hopefully I'll be able to go there and see these medical professionals  in the future too... and who knows, maybe also meet some of you ...

You can register here and then send me a private message.I'll send you back the support community link. Unfortunately, I can't post links in here (neither forum links, nor medical articles). Please join and be part of our support community. We need to be together in order to solve this... It's a living hell and we are alone in this... Please join...

Thanks to all.  I got on this page and read because I too was beginning to stress about what feels is only getting worse.  Additionally, the left side on my nose (exterior) is extremely tender to the touch.  Is anyone else having this issue as well?  My 17 year old son and I often wrestle around and I have been desperately trying to remember if he had elbowed me and maybe I broke it but no.  My guess is if I had it would hurt on both sides.  Anyway, the stress idea really applies to me as mine started the day after my wife returned to the US (we live on diffferent continents) and I was returning to work after a week with her and the family being together again.

I guess my only question is whether anyone else is experiencing pain on the exterior of their nose as well.

I slightly experience altered sensitivity where cartilage meets the bone(I don't know if I would describe it as slight pain or decreased pain, it's something in between). Do you remember getting hit in your nose really bad in the past 6months? And does it hurt more where the cartilage meets the bone, or where exactly do you feel the tenderness the most? Apart from the external pain, do you also experience like everyone burning pain while inhaling?

I just went through the same thing, cold and all. A $3 bottle of saline spray and ibuprofen every four hours cleared it up in a couple days. The spray kept it moist enough to not be irritated, and the NSAID brought down the irritation.

Did you ever resolve your burning sinus issue?  I have never had allergies.  For the last four weeks I have had a raw burning sensation under my eyes in what I would consider to be sinus area.  No other symptoms.  At times I think I will go crazy with the pain.  I feel like my eyes are swollen  but when I look in the mirror they look normal.  I just want to put the palms of my hands into the eye sockets and apply pressure to make the pain go away.  Hot cloths give some relief.

I have had a burning left nostril for 20 years - suspect a front tooth implant, but not sure....I started using a nasal plug made for filtering air...use with your favorite nasal cream....The warm air breaks the cold cycle and I can fall to sleep.....Breath Pure is what I use but there or others out there - cotton is way to tight and hurts.....hope this helps someone....

I can relate to almost everyone except the crazy lady who think we all got this from blowing coke. I'm 28 and live in Chicago and have been suffering for 8 years now. I have a constant burning in my nasal cavity and it never goes away. To get a better idea its like when you get pool water up your nose the spot that burns is "the spot" but only worse. I have tried everything to get better and nothing has worked. I've had 2 sinus surgeries for deviated septum which didn't bother me but hoped it would cure the pain. I also flew out to Houston to get another surgery by a doc claiming I had some nasal spurs that may be impinging nerves. Sounded good didn't work. Besides the major I've done almost everything. For example : 6 month candida diet in case of a fungal infection, acupuncture, pain doc gave me about six different nerve blocks, Cleveland clinic m***n told me learn to live with it, sleep test, allergy test, diamond headache clinic, 10+ ENTs, neurologists, meds like neurotin lyrica cymbalta just to name a few, and lots of hollistic specialists. I never thought I would write on one of these things but one person on here has the right idea. Doctors obviously are not going to help us. I've seen about 30 and every single time they refer me somewhere else like a Marry-go- round I end up right back to were I started. This burning pain effects your whole body and only you know how bad and how much you suffer. My whole life has been changed. It's real sad when you think of how it affects your relationships with your friends and family. You basically shut yourself off from the world and the only time you have peace is when your sleeping. The only relief that has worked was OxyContin but it only works short period and I highly recommend not starting it. Before you know it you'll be taking 8 pills a day and like me have to go on soboxone and have a whole other problem. I've been through a lot and it feels good to write to people that actually know what I'm going through. Hope is all we got and with out that we got nothing. Remind yourself of how you felt before your nightmare and don't give up. I'm continuing to try new methods. My next step is getting an impacted wisdom tooth pulled incase it's bothering a nerve. Also going to see a specialist regarding TMJ. O yea I'm currently taking 50mg of amytryptline and that does help take some pain down. And on 4 mg of soboxone because of my little oxy over usage. This also helps with the pain. Stay positive and strong and one day we will beat this. - Dan

I have these issues to and several years ago I started cleansing. Changed my life! In my research finding it could be candida or parasites. Yes! Do doctors talk about this...no! This can get into your sinus, eyes and all over. try drinking wormwood tea, carrot juice everyday and raw garlic. Use vinegar with the mother and make sure minerals are balanced. ie get enough magnesium. Steaming and hot pads help. Now it's in my eye and have extremely foggy vision in my eye and it's affecting my ear. Dreadful! ....infection, fungus, food allergy....aliens! Back to steaming and heat. Thanks for reading.

I've been dealing with burning sensations too, on the inside and outside of my nose and sometimes my sinus cavities too.  It feels like it is the skin over my sinuses more than inside, like a sunburn.  No stuffiness at all.  Mild sinus headache accompanies it on occasion.  Does the burning sensation get worse for you if you touch or rub the area?  Seems to be the case for me, irritating the nerves, I assume.

I am going to try applying theraputic grade essential oils.  Will post an update if it improves.  Thought I'd suggest that here too in case anyone else would like to give it a go.
