i take showers at night. so as soon as i get out of the shower i dry off, put my pajamas on, and go relax on my bed. but i lay down and after like 10 minutes or so of laying down my skin on my whole body itches and burns. even my head. and it doesnt go away for like 2-3 hours or until i fall asleep. nothing helps. i scratch it and the burning itching feeling comes back within seconds. i started to think it was the blanket i have on my bed but i changed it and it still happens. i dont understand what is going on. any ideas?

Hi Briana! There are some possibilities. One of them is that you are showering with too much hot water what makes your skin actually goes dry and what also causes a vasodilatation of your skin during the shower, a normal reaction to his can be itching. So I suggest you try to shower not very hot and use a good anti allergic hydrating lotion. Second possibility is an allergic reaction to any of the products you use during shower, like shampoo, conditioner or soap. Change them all for anti-allergic products. Another possibility is a new towel or new pijamas. If there's a new one stop using it. I guess as you thought about blanket you did also about the sheets right? Try these possibilities, it should work.
