I just removed my first calcium deposit before seeing all of this. I've never had one before & I kept thinking it was some kind of skin tag. Then my husband said "Nope. It's a calcium deposit." He kept telling me to just kinda push it out like a pimple, but it looked like it would hurt too much. Now I wish I had removed it a long time ago! I also think that you kind of have to wait for it to be ready to surface. I had kinda tried removing it before, but no luck. Today, it was like "Get me out of here!" and I just barely squeezed it like a pimple & stuff started coming out. I did have to push a bit harder to get the entire thing out in the end, but it really wasn't much different than a deep whitehead. This is the only site I could find that explained how to remove it. You guys rock!

Did you find out what triple antibiotic cream was used?

Look into getting tested for Scleroderma, calcium deposits are a common sign of this.

I poked mine with a sharp needle to give it somewhere to easily release. And was ae to squeeze it out

I had one on my chin and I popped mine and it had sounded like a small rock hit my mirror.
But it never came back in that spot again.
Now I have one on bottom of my eyelid where I put my eyeliner on and it's been there for bout a year. And it drives me crazy. I'm really afraid to try to pop it in that spot.

I popped mine too, it was right under my eye practically on the bottom eyelid and I’ve had it for months on end, sometimes it would go smaller and other days it would grow. Tonight it was so sore and my eyelid was actually a bit puffy from it, in the end I toughened up and popped it. It was like a hard little white ball, it hurt but I could tolerate it easy enough.
I just keep it clean with apple cider vinegar and a little bit of tea tree oil on a cotton bud.

I would like to know if calcium deposits can develop in the back of the head (inside)? Can they be detected with a MRI?
