This happened to me once. I had bad pain Thursday night. Went to my grandparents the entire weekend and when my dad picked me up on Sunday I told him to take me to the hospital. Idk how I survived the weekend but when I got there they had me in immediately and almost underwent surgery. Fortunately they decided if the antibiotics worked I would be fine. The following year I had a 10% higher chance of getting appendicitis again. I couldn't skateboard for a few weeks but I'll tell you Wendy's was the most amazing food I ever ate after being in a hospital for almost a week

So sorry for your loss but I dont think that's what she was trying to convey at all. PRAYER does work and sometimes that's all it takes but if you're born again then you know it's by the SPIRIT of GOD and it's about obedience. Sometimes the Lord will tell you to do something for your healing that's different from another person who is experiencing the same thing because HE knows you and your situation better than you do. Doctors CAN be wrong but the Spirit of God is NEVER wrong. We have to be sensitive to His voice and do what the Spirit says do and that's based upon relationship. If you dont have it then you wont know that HEs saying Pray but also do this or dont do that. We should never blame God for anything because He is Just. But If we dont listen to Him when He gives instructions then we are to blame for that. NOT HIM. And dont be mislead because God is always giving us direction and instructions but if You can't hear Him, seek Him more. Get closer to Him so you can. Born again believers have PoWer, so yes sometimes praying is all it may take.

Apparantly so. I was in a lot of pain and ended up in A&E. Ultrasound revealed inflammed appendix and markers showed infection. I went back a few days later and markers were back to normal but they did ct scan to check appendix the following week. The inflammation was half the size and they decided to leave it.

Not always the case. My wife has a high tolerance for pain. Example, she splashed grease on her arm covering about 50% of her arm and hand. The skin bubbled up and blistered. She barely flinched. She had third degree burns yet didn't act like it phased her. She kept complaining recently of abdominal cramps and pain in her left side. It took me three days to convince her to go to the ER. They are scheduling her for and appendectomy tomorrow. I found this site actually as I am sitting in the ER with her right now LOL. She wanted to know if it will go away. She is a big chicken of having to have surgery.

I disagree that you cannot be healed by God and prayer alone. I do believe it can happen. I have seen it happen. The trouble with telling someone that if they pray they will be healed, is that they may not have the faith to produce the healing.
And, it seems sometimes that God chooses to Divinely heal one person while someone else may require medical treatment.
No, I do not think that God thinks anyone is less deserving of being healed than another person. And God does not feel that way either. He loves every one of us the very same amount.
But faith does have a lot to do with miracles, I do know that. And the Bible tells us to pray, BELIEVING. How many of us pray truly believing that no matter what, God IS going to answer that prayer?
I believe, that if you pray without total faith that God will answer that prayer, then He most likely will not. And most people pray without total faith.
These things are just some of the
important things we will learn when we are in God’s presence, but may be given that knowledge through the Holy Spirit before then, if we earnestly ask, and that’s how we’ll
learn to pray with total faith in an answer.

And sometimes, we do "none of the above" True story, I can back this us. 4wks ago, went to my GP with recurred inguinal hernia, that had been repaired twice already, and seemed to be failing (disclaimer, I am retired RN). My GP demured, was not so sure of inguinal. Commented also having cramps periodically around naval with "washboard" lower abdomen, and testicular pain. The latter was found to be ilioinguinal nerve involvement in failing L inguinal hernia failure, and unrelated. 6 days later, at local hospital emergency with L10 abdominal cramps. They suspected this was vagal response to perforated bowel, but could find no perforation, shipped me 90mi to Kansas city KU medical. They looked for 2days plus, finding nothing. Finally had pain crisis while surgeons were in room, one wheeled me to radiology, and on my 3rd CT, spotted obstruction, and did emergency surgery. The pathology was INSANE! Said my appendix, along with 1' of lower bowel was removed. MY APPENDIX WAS COMPLETELY SOLID! Said likely ruptured many many years ago, likely decades ago, (64yoa) and my appendix and surrounding area had been sealed off, by my own body long ago! Omentum — nicknamed "the policeman of the abdomen" had sealed the and then, over the years, Solidified the appendix itself. Note, this does not mean you should count on this!!! Mine was a rarity, and likely this occurred during one of my "kidney stone" hospitalizations as a youth, there were over a dozen. The pathology report said there were signs of recurring "crises" going on for many many years past, perhaps decades! Sooo, guess the good Lord had other plans for me, when my appendix ruptured. I have no Idea how common this is, but I could not find another instance with my websearch!

Read my recent reply to your post for confirmation of the FACT, that God can, and DOES heal that which many consider beyond explaination. I had ruptured appendix many years ago, perhaps decades ago, and my body healed itself, till 3wks ago when my COMPLETELY SOLID APPENDIX was removed last month. Read my post!

Wow, consider yourself really lucky .I haven't heard of someone's appendix healing on its own. I always thought you have to get it removed altogether.

This sounds like my mother's story with her appendix many years ago. She was in a very bad state when she was taken to the hospital, but her appendix healed and she was back to her normal self, with no problems. However, she was operated on some 10 months later as a precaution.

My daughter had surgery for appendicitis and developed two abscesses. She is being given IV antibiotics which have reduced the size, but it is very slow. Is there a homeopathic remedy that could help the healing of abdominal abscess?
