I hope that someone here can help me. I am 39, will be 40 next February and I am convinced that I am going thru menopause. The thing is that my last period was just so strange, it didn't seem like a period at all, and then it was due on Friday and today is Monday and it hasn't come as yet and my periods are NEVER late, they always come at least 3 days before they are due, like clock work. I am dizzy all the time, upset stomach, sleepy. My last sexual encounter was on the 11 of October, not since then, so I don't think that I could be pregnant %-) I am just really very confused right now and hoping that someone has gone thru menopuase or going thru it so that they can help me. I am so desperate right now. I haven't gone to my doctor as yet. I have an appt. to see him on the 23rd of this month, can't get to see him before then unfortunately. In the mean time though, I am going crazy wondering what the hell is wrong with me and what is my body going through.
Hi Pinky Lyn I also 39 going on 40 in June. I've been having the same exact problem as you only I smell like elastics or condoms all the time. I am sexually active and do us condoms all the time and thats why I thought it might have been the lube from them just staying in my (v). My last period too was strange too, mine was very very light for one day then the next it was brown, like at the end of periods. I have also been getting dizzy and I am tired all the time, especially around 1 or 2 in the afternoon every day. Well anyway I went to my Dr to see if it may be an infection and the tests came out neg. she told me to try to stop using the lube condoms, that may be where the smell is coming from. But that didn't help. I'm getting so damn aggravated with this, I'm even scared to have sex because I think their going to think I'm dirty or something. throughout the day too I always have to wipe myself because it gets wet and then I can smell myself through my pants. One more thing, I have an empty douche bottle I keep and put warm water and flush my vagina out, it helps for a couple of hours then the next day the smell comes back. HELP HELP HELP PLEASE, someone tell me what is going on with my body!!!!

I have already had my period. Four days later, I had my period again. Am I going through menopause?
Hi, I just turned 39, and going through premature menopause. I haven't had my periods for 8 months, and now I got one. Does anyone know why? As I thought that once you are going through menopause it stops!
