I had bypass surgery about 5 years ago. Prior to that, the only symptom (and I didn't connect the dots at the time) was pain across my middle back during exertion. My back pain started years before bypass surgery, but steadily increased. I finally recognized that the pain I had was angina, and a test showed 3 blocked coronary arteries. I went for the surgery, and afterwards, the angina was gone & I could do all excerise without pain. Now, here's my question......can I depend upon a revisit of angina if my coronary arteries ever get blocked again. I hope the answer is yes, but I'd nevertheless like to know.
