people in my life, so i dont know if that makes a difference or not. Anyways i have been very irritable lately and very gassy. %-) I have mild cramping in my right side (uterus). My boyfriend and I always use condoms and i am on the pill (but i always miss some, so its not rly affective) We do not put the condom on until were ready to finish. Could i be pregnant?

i had a 8 negative home prego test and then a few days later i had a faint positive test then they got darker and darker so let me just say a false negative is a greater posibility then a false positive so if it comes up positive go to your obgyn asap and get an ultrasound done and they will then show you if you are or not most likly you are and i was just so happy to be prego for i had been waiting for ever for this to happen good luck to all you girls out there andf stay positive and dont ever look back

im not a doctor but i would say depending on how light or severe they are..when i found out i was pregnant i had period like cramping & the doc told me that it was my uterus expanding or growing or whatever, i hope that helps!

you should have the doctor check you for PCOS-Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome- when i was 16 years old i had extreme pain and went to the ER and they found a cyst on my ovary and a few years ater I started having my period every 2 weeks and then months without one. I was diagnosed at age 19 and I am now 21. They can do bloodwork and complete an ultra sound to see if you have some form of this. Good luck!

Hey I had the samething when i first started my cycle. Went back and forth to the doctor and they told me nothing. Come to find out i had what your aunt have. Don't be afraid, its nothing bad. Start taking pills days before your cycle suppose to start, it helps.

I've heard of cases like yours. In most of them they were either just late or actually pregnant and the body just hadn't produced enough hCG to test positive yet. Some women ive heard even took 3 months to get a positive test but had already been to the doctor and had the pregnancy confirmed by their doctor.
If you've been really stressed lately your cycle could just be late. If your not usually late and you haven't been stressed I'd look up how soon to make an appointment to get checked after however many days to wait.

In reply to someone asking if you can get a negative result on a home pregnancy test when you're actually pregnant - the answer is yes. I took my first test when I was about 2 days late on my period, and it showed negative. When my period didn't come over the next few days, I took another one and it came out positive. So, sometimes the hormone just takes a little longer to show up in your urine... The same symptoms of your menstrual cycle apply to being pregnant as well... So, its quite the guessing game until you wait a bit, or go see a doc, or better yet, an ultrasound tech! Good luck to you all...
