Wow now I feel a little terrible for having my tubes removed to become sterile so I wouldn't get pregnant anymore. Almost feel incredibly selfish after reading many of the stories posted.

I had my tubes remobed in hopes of no more periods or babies, as my periods were absolutely awful because I ovulate during the period instead of before or after. I had my surgery the end of April and just started a period 2 days ago, in which I am thouroughly unhappy about. Good luck to those of you trying for babies and to those who aren't looking to have children do you think getting a period back would make you want to go all the way and have everything removed?

Hi Ladies

I've had 3 miscarriages 2 years ago and 2 EP within a span of 4 months of eachother this year, lost both tubes and have been told the same by my Gynae. IVF is the only option to conceive. I feel the same about IVF, the disappointment if it isn't a success is something I would not be able to deal with again . Not to mention the hormone injections and also the possibilities of what could go wrong and would like to know if anyone has gone through with it , since some posts are over a year old.

I'm suffering with immense period pain every cycle and would also like to know if it got better over time or not .

P.S. Myself and my husband also have no children. Rather gutted , but I guess it's all apart of God's plan for us. What if IVF is going against God's plan for us . Did all of it not happen for a reason. This is constantly in the back of my mind and I just cannot shake the feeling that it is not intended for me .

Wishing the ladies , everything that is beautiful and a Merry Christmas.

I had the same thing. Do you get massive pain on your opposite side right before your period?

Fifteen years ago I had 2 tubes and my left ovary removed because of an ovarian cyst and endometriosis. I have not had a period since that surgery. I am 62. I have just developed pelvic pain and pain in my right ovary. Hope it's nothing. Will find out on Thurs.

Hello ladies! I also had both tubes removed after having an ectopic pregnancy. I have been getting my period on a consistent basis. However, I noticed this month, today, I am spotting. Did you ever get the spotting checked out? If so, what did the doctor say. I will call on Monday to set an appointment to check my spotting, stay tuned for the results.

I had an ectopic aswell and removed my left tube afterwords found out that I never had the righ tube to start with. Also found out I have an idly shaped uterus it's basically half the size of a normal one. IVF for us. Very small odds as to even me being able to carry, I had 6 misscarages before hand, but we smashed it. I only got ONE tiny egg to implant and it worked

Hi. I have no tubes due to one being removed from an ectopic pregnancy & the other was blocked. I needed ivf to conceive, which worked first time. But by some miracle I became pregnant naturally 2 years later!!!
