Hi I'm an 18 yr old male and have had sex 5 times without feeling a dam thing. I can totally ejaculate by masturbating and can totally get a pretty good hard on going when I have sex. But in the actual act of having sex, I feel no pleasure hence i have never finished during intercourse.

Can you be more clear about what you mean by "I feel no pleasure during sex"?

Are you saying you have no sensation in the penis? That the head or glanz is numb?

Or that you can't build toward a climax like you can with self-masturbation?

Are you wearing a condom? Are you experiencing intercourse? What type of sex are you having?

The answer to these questions may help us help you.

Yea by no pleasure I mean no sensation at all in the penis. I do wear condoms when I have sex (vaginal intercourse with a girl).

Unfortunately, most condoms cut sensation in the penis during intercourse. It's only logical that a barrier between the nerves and the stimulation or friction is going to deaden some of the experience.

Far from recommending that you abandon condoms, I suggest that you practice masturbation with a condom on, and if you would wait a week or two between your masturbation attempts, I suspect you'll find you can come quite a bit more easily that you thought you could.

As a married man of 25 years, who relied upon condoms for the first dozen of years as our form of birth control, I can assure you that it is possible to experience pleasure while wearing a condom. (But I won't argue that "going bareback" isn't more stimulating. It just isn't worth the risk of pregnancy... and my wife didn't feel right about taking hormones (the pill, etc) instead of me wearing a condom. )

Still, when we decided to have kids...and then again afterwards, after a vasectomy, the sudden arrivial of additional sensation during intercourse and climax especially was very heady. I can understand why men want to abandon the condom.

But don't... unless you have some other reliable form of protection in place.
