Hello. I'm 36 year old female and about a week ago I have found out that I've developed some kind of ovary cancer.
I was devastated when I heard about it although I had some doubts because of strong pains in that area.
Doctor scheduled me for an operation in week period and till then- I have to choose what type of operation will I have- classical approach or laparoscopy.
I have heard only the best about this laparoscopic approach but I have heard that it can cause some vaginal scaring. Is this true? What is the most common cause of this vaginal scarring!?

Hi. I have just read your post and decided to help you because I see you're confused! I know that you are worried about scars and everything but believe me- laparoscopic approach is presently the best possible way to avoid all unnecessary scars.
I must tell you that this operation doesn’t leave any scars in your vagina, unlike some other operation such as removing of cervical dysplasia and other.
There are 2 scars that you’ll have after procedure- the first one is inside the belly button which is invisible and one is above the bikini line. They are very small and almost not visible! So, this scaring issue doesn’t have to be your concern!
