Im 14 now. When i was in the third grade I sliped in the cafteria on some water , hit my head on the table and my front tooth pierced through my bottom lip (underneath). They didnt give me stitches; they gave me liquid dermibration or something like that its like a glue that seals it. It work the same as stitches and its a less painful process. It left a small scar less than what it would have from stitches.
P.S. Tell him I said chicks dig scars :-D , thats wut my dad tells me
Oops i forgot to add my tooth did go all the way through lol i still have the scar

Oh, poor little thing! Was he scared?
I was lost when something like this happened to my child for the first time. I was home alone with him and had no idea what to do. I panicked, called a cab and took him to an ER. There was a very nice, young doctor there who explained to me what I should do next time something like this happens.
You should take a clean cloth and put some pressure on the lip to stop the bleeding. Then you should remove any dirty parts that may be present around but make sure your hands are clean. Then, it should be rinsed with water and soap. Put some antiseptic ointment or lotion on the cut. If there is swelling, you could give your child an ice cube to suck, so the swelling could subside.
Although, I know the procedure know, I would definitely take him to an ER again after doing all of this because I know that any laceration may leave a scar, so I would rather he had it done by a pro.
What did you do in the end?
