Definitely some sort of infection is going on with you! I would hazzard a guess you have a bad bug in your intestine, your colon or your anus! Is the blood entwined in the stool or does it sit on top of it?

You need to see a Dr asap. The darker the blood the more serious it could be. I think the anal fissures occur when the skin is stretched or when it has cracked from dryness. If you have had a really hard bowel then. If you're constipated it's more likely that you stretched your skin and caused it to bleed.

You may have anal fissures. I had them for several years and made a couple of trips to the hospital with chills and fever after going to the restroom. :$ I thought I was going to die. The hospital never put two and two together. After several years, I figured it out myself. I had put off going to the doctor because of the horror stories o.O I heard about hemoroid surgery. I am here to tell you, the first time to the restroom after the surgery hurt way less XD than the fissure problem itself. Had I known that, I would have had it fixed earlier. Assuming that is the problem, my recommendation is to go see a doctor and get it fixed. That was 12 years ago and I am still thankfull I did every trip to the restroom. :-D Good Luck!

Hi there, with blood in the stool, is it dark or is it light red? If it's light red, the issue is what Guest mentioned--you probably have fissures. If it's dark red see a doctor immediately. Either way, see a doctor, okay?

I have the same symptoms right now fever all day then night sweats or chills when i do something slightly active and now blood in my stool its light red and is not mixed in with the stool. did u find out what u had? btw the is day 8 for my fever
