I noticed blood in my stool; I guess that hemorrhoids are the cause. Do you think I should call a doctor? What are usual because of blood in stool? Although it can be some disorder of GI tract or side effect of the drug I was taking. Does anyone know something about it?

Blood in your stool can be from anywhere from your mouth to anus. I can only tell you possible causes, but you should seek for professional help, even if they are only hemorrhoids. Causes from upper GI tract are: gastritis, bowel ischemia, vascular malformation, trauma or foreign body; and from lower GI tract are: hemorrhoids, anal fissures, diverticular bleeding, intestinal infection (such as bacterial enterocolitis), vascular malformation, IBS, tumor, colon polyps or colon cancer.
