I had the cholesteral spots under my eyes removed a few years ago by a platic surgeon.  It worked great.  However, the spots came back.  I went back to a plastic surgeon to see about having them removed again.  The bad thing is . . . you start to run out of skin.  He said he could do it but then my eyelid might not touch my eye anymore.  I decided that wasn't worth the risk.  I went to several doctors . . . called even more doctors offices.  They don't know anything to do with cholesteral spots.  I finally found a dermatologist who will do chemical peels on them.  It did work.   The spots were smaller and less noticeable.  However, this does not "fix" the underlying problem.  It only makes the spots less noticeable.

I use to get the same type o like pimples you describe and found out that the supplement of omega 6 helps remove them. I started drinking the supplement and after a month they fall off by itself. Maybe that could work for you.

I've just gotten them within this last year, I dont nor have ever had high cholesterol, (my dermatologist said "you dont have to have high cholestrol to get them) I exercise and eat healthy and no one in my family have them.... the only thing I can think of is, I've just started to eat avocado and nuts for the first time in my life.  I'm not really happy to hear survey is the only way to get rid of them....

I had them removed by a plastic surgeon 6 months ago and sadly mine have come back. And my insurance did not cover it cause it is not "medically necessary" My cholesterol is good but I seem to have these flare ups where my cholesterol spikes and then the deposits reappear. The surgeon warned me that once you get them 90% come back

This post was from a while back but I'm wondering how you had them removed. Ie. did yr surgeon use acid or cut them out? I just had one of mine cut out bc the surgeon said that having them burned usually doesn't to the trick. I have a few more which is why I'm asking. Also to anyone who is reading this, sometimes med insurance will cover a portion. They did in my case. It's because I said they were starting to itch and cause me irritation ;). It's still going to cost me a pretty penny (2k) to have about 6 removed (my insurance is pretty minimal bc I'm self employed) but the surgeon said that "very, very rarely" has he seen them return when he cut them out. Let's hope I'm lucky!! Granted he could have just been saying that but it's a really reputable group in Atlanta, ga. I was also worried about scarring. He said that's always a possibility , but that the scars never look as bad as the deposit is. Yikes you can imagine that response didn't sit well with me but I went for it anyway. I just had this done yesterday and the incision is tiny. Had 4 stitches. Remarkable looking really for just 24 hours later. To those of you who are considering doing the needle thing omg that would terrify me! You are basically taking a knife to your face...near your eye! For those of you who absolutely cannot afford a plastic surgeon, The other thing I tried on a deposit that was not close to my eye and was also tiny: I went to a med spa and had one of their doctors ( yes it was an actual dr...of what I don't know lol) did an ultra radio frequency something or another to remove it. Costed me $25. I think the avg is around $40 per "skin irregularity" FYI. But again with this technique they may have a greater chance of coming back, and I would DEFINITELY make sure the person is a dr and ask how many times they've done the procedure how close was it to the eye what were the results etc etc.. Anyway That was just last week so there is still a teeny bit of swelling but for the most part it's gone. It looked like a bee sting when he was finished. Not unsightly at all. A word of caution though right in the middle he suddenly took out this sharp object and their was basically nothing I cld do about it at that point so make sure you have this proactive conversation before hand. I don't want anyone other than a licensed plastic surgeon putting any type of sharp object to my face. Lastly, a while back I tried applying garlic as I've read but that did nothing for me. I tried cloves 1st then crushed garlic but I think what works with people is the juice from the garlic but again omg be careful bc yr burning yr own skin! And this is just me so with all respect but No way would I ever put a needle to my own face near my eye. I'll try to come back to this forum and post again to update you on my progress but have also set it up so any response goes to my email. I def want to share as much info as I can. Good luck all!!

You already informed that yes they are because of cholesterol. If you failed to control the amount of cholesterol that you are going to have. Magnesium can help you to do it so. They work like MAGNESIUM MIRACLE. If you want to get relief from it, then you must follow it.

cholesterol levels don't really matter in this case, because there are a lot of us who have cholesterol within normal limits. and doctors just ask to get it surgically removed. So I guess we are looking for a home remedy because as many times as we get rid of it it is bound to return. So say the doctors.
