As a fellow sufforer of this condition I understand what you are going through. I have had very poor health all my life and the BEST (and usually the only) advise I can give, and hardest lesson I ever had to learn on my own is this: You have to be your own advocate when dealing with your health. In simpler terms, if you don't agree with or trust your doctor, get a second opinion. Doctors make mistakes all the time, whether it is a misdiagnosis, or prescribing the wrong medication or none at all, or making a mistake in surgery that injures or kills you. Even if it is something as minor as not spending enough time with you when you have an office appointment. DO NOT BE AFRAID TO SWITCH DOCTORS OR GET A SECOND OPINION. You know your body better than any one else ever will. If it doesn't feel right, find one that does. I hope this empowers you and helps all of you out there.

Any of the options listed is either going to take a long time to get rid of them or a long time to heal from the removal proccess. For the wedding I would suggest covering them. A friend of mine is an esticion and told me a few days ago that there is make up foundation that is made for covering up tattoos that will work well. She said it's available at Ulta. I haven't gotten any yet and she didnt low the name of it but they should be able to help you if you ask at the store. Hope this helps!

Every single thing you have written in your post is exactly true. It took me a lifetime to realize that all the medical problems I was having were precisely caused by the crappy food I was eating, THINKING I WAS EATING HEALTHY. Three months ago, I cut out 99% of the sugars in my diet. That one step has caused me to lose over 50 lbs. There is sugar everywhere. My salt intake has dropped too, but I need to to even further, and sadly, there's not a lot of processed food available without salt.

My insurance covered surgery to remove mine. I went to a plastic surgeon specifically for eyes. Wish I could post my after surgery pics. They did cut mine out. They were concerned they would have to use a skin graft from my thigh for my bottom lids because they were so bad. They didn't but that was a concern.

Hi,yes I have recently used a wartner pen.My Xanthelasma was on the top of my cheekbone- I would never use it near my eye and Wartner warns not to use it on the face at all. I only put it on once and dabbed with a water soaked cotton wool pad within 5 minutes. I cleansed with Dettol every evening and left it dry and put sudocrem on it under my make up during the day . On about day 4 when I cleansed the scab all the bright yellow came off on the cotton wool. After healing I am left with a slight mark like a burn on the arm from an oven...this is gradually fading . I am pleased with this as removal a couple of years ago cost me hundreds of pounds .
