I started taking Ciprofloxacin 500 mg on 12 hours for a skin infection. I have been on the drug for over 48 hours now, so I wonder shouldn’t I have seen this clearing up by now? I haven’t noticed a change. How much time does it need?
Again good old fashioned drugs like keflex are normally all you need for skin infections. I had impetigo few years ago and it was cleared up by a 3 day course of keflex! I think that Trouble with Ciprofloxacin is that it's more likely to be concentrated in your brain than on your skin.
