Hi. Could you help me please i'm quite worried.
Last night my scrotum was really really itchy so i scratched it quite a lot. After it felt really sore and now theres like a clear liquid where i've been scratching. There doesn't appear to be any cuts etc though. What the hell is this? I'm fairly sure it's not an STD because i've only had one sex partner and she's never slept with anyone else and it's been 7 years since we started having sex.
In the past my scortum has been really itchy especially after a bath or excercise. I've never noticed this clear liquid before though. Anyone know anything about this condition? I think it might be jock itch but i want to be sure.
Thanks.

I'm actually angry right now because this question is the closest I've been able to match to my own and nobody has answered it.

Agreed, doctors have not been helpful. I have this reoccurring problem. It gets red and rashy in one area, and a clear liquid coats the area. The area looks mildly swollen and red usually but has gotten extreme at least once. I don't think it is "red scrotum" or eczema. I think it's fungal, like a yeast infection, and I changed my diet according to the sensitivities of "candida", which are a natural part of our digestive biome but that cause many issues in overgrowth.
The healthy fluora is suppressed and the candida stimulates yeast and fungus growth, causes skin problems such as eczema, and even affects our mental focus and moods. My diet seemed to work, but I didn't stick with it and the problem came back after several months. Now I have to try again and stick to it. Indigestion, high sugar/carb diets, (american) gluten, low nutrition processed foods, fried foods, milk/cream, alcohol. All of the above create an environment for candida to thrive which causes bodily and skin problems and yeast/fungus infections.
Antifungals and antihistamines help in the short term, but take too often and they won't work as well in the future.
The diet: less sugar alcohols, eat for good digestion.
ZERO processed sugar.
ZERO simple fats/carbs.
Reduce all other sugars to a minimal amount.
No milk because lactose is a sugar. If you must, at least find local unpasteurized milk which has balancing nutrition.
Be careful with sweetened milk-alternatives.
No greasy fried foods bc they break down to sugar quickly (no french fries).
No processed, refined foods, bc they also break down to sugar quickly.
White potatoes have too many simple carbs, replace with sweet potatoes.
Satisfy sugar cravings with fruit.
Replace white bread with whole grain/berry nutritious bread.
High fiber content counteracts some sugars.
Research ways to eat for better digestion.

Adding exercise should also help balance sugar/carb breakdown.
Also, rinse in the shower don't use soap on the scrotum (some have suggested oat soaps). Dry with a blowdrier before putting underwear on. Sleep without underwear, with loose pajamas or breathable shorts, if anything. Don't scratch. Pray.
