I'm 14, and I'm a worry wart, and i don't have any clue to whats going on. Im having frequent urination, but little comes out. It feels like I have to pee all the time! It started like a week ago, and I just started my period, i think. It started to itch so my mom said it might be a yeast infection. I dont want it to be any kind of STD, or herpes or whatever! I looked at myself in the mirror and i noticed i had little bumps on both sides. they are small and dont seem to bother me! I'm sooo scared. help me. :/

They are called FORDYCE SPOTS. They are not an STD and are not contagious. Some guys have them on their penis too...nothing to worry about. I know it can cause you to be self-conscious, because I have them on my penis and I worry sometimes too, but if someone is mature enough to be having sex with you, they should be able to listen and talk to you about them without being immature.

I have a yeast infection and as stupid as it is, was scratching it because it was just SOOO itchy. I havent taken the medication for the infection yet because i have to look and see if its ok to take while Im pregnant. Anyways the day before yesterday I noticed these TINY little pin point sized bumps only 3 of them and the are is so itchy and burning. I think it might be from the scratching and the yeast infection. Or a rash from being so hot all the time due to the pregnancy? Its on the inner lip. Help?

I just noticed this about a week and a half ago. I have flesh colored finger like bumps on my inner labia. They are small. I can feel them and only see them when I pull the skin back and when I do, some kind of stick out like a finger. I pulled one off and I bled like crazy and it hurt. It doesn't look like typical genital warts, they are not cauliflower in shage. I also have a few bumps inside on my vulva and a thick milky discharge. It only burns after I shower and there is a little itching on my upper labia major. I'm so scared this is something serious. Help!

They could be HPV warts. They are sexually transmitted. They are contagious. You need to see a doctor as they will need to be taken off. The transmission of this virus is still in debate.(i.e. can you spread it to your genitals by playing with yourself if you have a wart on your hand?) HPV can cause other troubles, cervical cancer being the big one. You can make sure cancer cannot get you because you can eat foods and live a lifestyle that cancer doesn't like. You can also get through it with no troubles at all. ( once the discomforting warts have been removed). This virus is SUPER popular. There has been no published, accepted, "cure" as of yet. Some people treat them with gold (rubbing a ring on them to make them go away), or surprisingly, using positive mindsets that they swear eraticates the warts. If you have them, you have them. You have the virus. Nothing to freak out about as you are not alone, and you can live a happy life even with the virus. You'll even forget you have it, so practice safe sex and they might not ever show up again once removed. Remember...Super popular.

a friend of mine experienced similar bumps on her labia and it turned out to be some type of irritation she got from shaving down there. Another thought is that it could be an allergic reaction of some sort to the type of condom used or maybe the spermicide on the condom. There is of course an ugly little monster out there named genital herpes and if that is in fact what you've contracted, go to a doctor immediately and begin therapy. there's no cure but the least you can do is be responsible to prevent spreading it to others. This is no time to hide it from your parents or any other authority figure, they can help you. the disappointment would only be trippled if they have to find out that you're dealing with this through someone else.

They may be molluscum contagiosum (sp?). My doctor gave me a topical treatment, but it's a virus. So, it'll go away when it feels like it. Just try to keep the area dry, don't rub or pick at it as it is contagious and will spread even more, and see your doctor for a proper diagnosis.

This is crazy I have the same exact thing, I have always noticed them. I find that it gets itchy only occasionally and every time the areas got itchy I was told it was a yeast infection however this time im not sure because I dont have any discharge. But they are very itchy and irritating :-(

I'ts reassuring hearing how similar some of you stories are to mine.... I was freaking out thinking I had some std and it didn't make sense to me because I had been with the same guy for a long time and he has no symptoms of anything. I'm still going to get the doc to take a look and I will reply, hopefully the news is good and we can all come to the conclusion that females have unusual things happen. Another thing I noticed is the fact that all off us either experienced this after sex or a yeast infection which probably just means our bodies are reacting to the skin being irratated.

Its HPV. I contracted it the first time I had sex. Lucky huh? You can get it with condoms so the only safe sex method not to get it would be monogamy or abstinance. You can try to take immune boosters and keep that area dry as you can i.e. no masterbation or sex that would make it spread more. Good luck.

I have the same bumps on my labias. They're on both sides (inside) and consist of different sizes. They're not painful and don't itch. Sometimes they are a little irritating after a long day of sweating at work. I was dating a guy who failed to mention to me that he had had herpes for the last 25 years. We had intercourse and did not wear a condom (stupid mistake). I painful urination, discharge and itching within days of intercourse. Those are symptoms of Herpes. I started really examining myself and noticed these little white bumps near the tops of my labias. I had never noticed them before although I really never examed myself that closely. I just knew that they were the blisters that are caused by Herpes. I went to my doctor and she said she didn't see any real lesions that are associated with herpes but gave me a prescription to Valtrex anyway. I took the prescription but the bumps did not go away. I went for a second opinion to a clinic that specialized in STDs. I was informed that I did not have herpes or genital warts. These little white bumps are normal in some women. We may not always have them and they may not ever develop but sometimes they do. They are not contagious. When it comes to the "symptoms" of what I thought were herpes, it just happened to be bad timing. I had gotten a UTI and a yeast infection from the intense sexual intercourse. I was very lucky and have learned my lesson about wearing condoms. I really think that the bumps that have been mentioned are fairly normal. Please go see a doctor if you want a definite answer. Good luck everyone! And take care of yourselves.
