Ok it's kind of hard to explain but on both sides of my labia i have this cluster of white bumps. The clusters are the exact same on both sides and the bumps start from my clitoris(where they are about the size of a pinpoint) and the cluster ends right by the beginning of my vagina(where the bumps are a little bit bigger and aren't all the same size) I went to the gyno and asked him what they were and he ignored me!! i told them to test me for hpv but the test came back negative, whereas they still suggested the vaccine??? and none of this occured until after i begin having sex so i can't help but think it's an std, any ideas?????

I have something like that but it starts at the top and is spreading down the lip. It hurts and itches....

I have the same issue, but it started from my labia minora up and going up my clitoritis. It started itching some time ago and I'm very afraid, and I need to know a way to stop the itching and make it disappear. I've had no physical contact with another human being, sexually, just pure masturbation. I doubt it's anything like herpes or something. D: Someone help?

I have the same problem! I have a bunch of tiny bumps around my clitoris and some slightly larger ones along my lips. I've had them as long as I can remember and I always figured that they would go away, but its been years and nothings changed. I'm not sexually active so it can't be an STD. I haven't really thought about them in a while but me and a guy are getting closer and they make me really self-conscious. If anyone has any idea about how to treat these then I would be so grateful.

I have something similar and I am freaking out, I had been told over a year and a half ago i had a yeast infection, then treated it and all seemed to be good, but lately ive noticed once again the problem is back, it doesnt look like any kind of std or sti .. or even infection, usually they have no feeling , but sometimes they are irritable and itchy .. usually when I think about them too much and stress myself out

I'm 15 and have the same cluster of little White bumps so I'm certain it's nothing to do with sti's or std's as I'm not sexually active. But if anyone finds out anything let me know, it would save me a lot of embarressment if I have to go :-) x

Oh, I'm so relieved other people have this problem too! I've been freaking out about it for 4 years- I've had them since I was 15! Mine are the same: start near my clit about the size of a pin point and bigger and less regular closer to my vaginal opening. I'm almost positive it's not an STI- I'm not yet, nor have ever been sexually active. Mine do get quite itchy sometimes, I've been to my general practitioner and a gyno about it before, but she just said it was an allergic reaction- I think I'll mention the yeast infection thing to her next time I go in. I'm surprised they don't know more about it! It seems to be quite common! I'll post if I find out anything new when I go back!

Ladies, I have been thinking all the exact same things you have. I have been to the obgyn several times and she keeps telling me that the "little white bumps that can only be seen when skin is pulled tight" on the labia minor (lower part of the clitoris) is NORMAL. When you let the skin rest, it has an uneven appearance, it is just part of the glands in that area. Trust me, I have been in the same boat as you for some time... completely freaking myself out. My doctor must think I am crazy bc I keep having her look at them to make sure they are what she said they were last time.

Oh, also the little white raised bumps close to your public hair line are normal as well... there are just like the glands on your labia.

As for you, young girl who is afraid to tell her mother... HPV/genital warts is on the rise so be careful with yourself. Skin tags, warts and glands are all very different. If I were you, I would schedule an appointment at the local Planned Parenthood, they are under strict confidentiality ties. Just go get it checked out, you'll feel a lot better.

Fordyce's spots[1] are small, painless, raised, pale, red or white spots or bumps 1 to 3 mm in diameter that may appear on the shaft of the penis or on the labia, as well as the inner surface (retromolar mucosa) and vermilion border of the lips of the face. They are common in men and women of all ages. They are named after an American dermatologist, John Addison Fordyce.[2] On the head of the penis, they are called Tyson's glands,[3] not to be confused with Hirsuties papillaris genitalis.[4]

The spots are a form of ectopic sebaceous gland: normally, sebaceous glands are only found in association with a hair follicle. They are not known to be associated with any disease or illness and are of cosmetic concern only. They aren't infectious and are a natural occurrence on the body. Men sometimes consult with a dermatologist because they are worried they may have a sexually transmitted disease (especially genital warts) or some form of cancer, but this is not the case.[5] They may equally be worried about the appearance of their penis and what their sexual partner might think of it.[6]

I have the exact same thing.. I've been trying to remember whether I had them before I was sexually active, I'm pretty sure I did, but I keep really freaking myself out. Has anyone gotten any sort of definite answer yet?

They are clogged pores. If you can stand it, for about a week, use a washcloth and soap and pay attention to the area with the bumps. Try and press hard enough to clean, but not so hard you irritate the gental area of skin. You'll notice a decrease in the bumps.
As with any area of the body, your labia has pores and they can be clogged from grease/dirt/sweat.

ive had these since i can remember im 17 now . i noticed them well i dont even know when, but ive had them even before i had sex.
they are on my outer and inner lips (labia) , at the top near my cliterous but they look skin coloured until u stretch the skin and then they look white , they look like white bumps underneath the skin im so embarrassed about them .
but i worried about them being genital warts, but surely someone that i have slept with would have caught them or noticed them by now ,
im going to the clinic tommora anyway just to make sure and so i know 100% and put my mind at ease :-)

Things to keep in mind gals, this does help some, juicing raw vegtables herbs and roots look up recipies that directly focus on attacking extra yest and candieda, avoid sugars and breads and pasta for a while, and make sure your bowels are regular and clean. These are good places to start when dealing with yeast infections of any kind on your body including the private area. Good topicals I found usful to help treat these along with prescription meds provided by your doctor, use anti fungal soaps and rinse well, poroxide, tea tree oil, anti fungal creams, witch hazle on medicated pads, iodine, herbal tea bags after dipped in hot water, crushed fresh garlic and place it in the infected area, lots of water and drink hearbal teas, avoid purfume soaps and douches, avoid soda's of all kinds, eat protien, raw vegtables and avoid spicey foods that cause inflamation, limit to one raw fruit per day and try visiting your local health food store and talk to any lady's who work there and explain this and they have more natural substances to guide you to cleansing your digestive tract and bring a balence to your immune system once you finish a body cleanse. Believe it or not some times people can be infected with a common parosite that can also cause yeast outbreaks and manafest itself differently in each person. Many of these parasites are not at all leathal but does cause these exact issues you all are talking about.... really no blood test or anything is going to show up these little microbials but your body has a way of communicating to you there is an infection of some kind but finding the right treatment can take time. Just be patient but consistant and keep asking around as you make the attempt to get rid of these ongoing issues. Be good to yourself and love yourself for who you are and more then likely you will gain the results desired. Best of wishes to you all. Oh yes one more thing about these symptoms you are are talking of... no it is not an STD just a fungus that can occure with or without sexual acctivity. Yeast and fungus grows on EVERYTHING so do your best in fueling your body what it needs to flush these mocrobial life forms out of your body and to add to all this alcohol is another factor to avoid while getting rid of this fungus you are battling. Good luck

I have the exact same thing ! i noticed mine about like a year n a half ago..thats when i had my very first yeast infection and once that was cured i noticed it right after that and i am sexually active. when I got my pap smear i asked my doctor about it and she said it was normal because of all the moisture. You can only notice it when you stretch the skin and it appears kinda white but other than that you cant even tell and its only on the inner top part of the lips.
It's perfectly normal :-) !
