three days ago my boyfriend and i were having sex and when we went to withdraw, the condom slipped halfway off...he told me not to move because there was some substance near my vagina... i use the pill regularly and consistently (for four years), but am slightly paranoid that it was semen... i do notice that i have more lubrication since ive been on the pill, so i dont know if it could have been that, either. my boyfriend checked the condom and said it was not leaking, but im still worried that anything near my vagina could get me pregnant (silly i know)..

at any rate, i washed up with some soap and warm water and am just feeling paranoid... if anyone can supply some reassurance, it would be appreciated!
Well, it sounds like you did three different pregnancy prevention methods. First of all, the pill is a great way to prevent pregnancy alone. Second, whenever semen slips out of the condom, soap and water is a great way to wash the semen out. It sounds like you'd be hard pressed to find yourself pregnant. I wouldn't worry.

thanks for the reply, it is very appreciated. i still find myself paranoid, as i am a graduate student and just beginning my life as a true adult, i dont want to find myself in a hard place... but, i'm praying all is well and looking for some distractors to not let me worry so much that i stress my body out of a period hehehee
