Hi, I'm 16 years old. For 4 days already I'v felt an incredible pressure pushing up from my neck/spine into my head and its growing. There is no pain, just pressure. When I walk, I constantly feel as if I want to fall forward. I'm not feeling faint! My coordination is good, but this pressure has kept me from doing my daily activities. When my head is in a strait position the pressure builds up, but when I move it for side to side, up and down, it disappears momentarily. Does anybody have any clue as to what this is?

That sounds like it could be an inner ear issue. It could be the onset of vertigo or some other inner ear problem, so it would be a good idea to check with your physician about it. I would not mention that it's an inner ear problem, but rather tell your doctor about your symptoms. After all, diagnosing is their job, not mine! In any case, it seems like it would be a good idea to see a doctor about it. It could get worse. Are there any other symptoms? Let us know about your diagnosis! Thanks.

Hi:
My concern for you would be the area that you're feeling the pressure in. It is in your cervical spine area. Injuries at the top of the spine/back of the head can be fatal (sorry, just honest). You could also have a pinched nerve in that area. Could you have injured yourself in that area without realizing it? This problem is very worthy of an x-ray or more extensive testing just because of the location along with the sensations that you are having. It is potentially serious. I would see a doctor right away....Please don't panic, just get some medical attention just to be safe
