corners of mouth just won't heal!

Hi! I also had same problem. Your condition is caused by yeast organisms from the mouth which set up shop wherever there's moisture. My suggestion is to use some hydrocortisone 1% and apply that right over the miconazole. It helps me I hope that will you also help. Apply each twice or three times a day. If symptoms persist, more than two weeks see your doctor.
