Do you smoke? And if so do you smoke a lot, that's mainly what it's caused by Ive had it for years and has been checked upon the doctor said it was just tonsilliths so you can all go to the Winchester have a nice cold pint and wait for all this to blow over! Sincerely Natt

I've had this for years from being smoker and agree it 's from the lungs . However, I found out if I soak in a very hot bath and the lay in my stomach and swallow. I can feel the needs flushing away to my stomach. I feel they get caked to the back of your lungs. Heat melts them off and swelling helps them move out of the lungs. Smokers will feel like they have new lungs. I do this at least once a year to clear my lungs and it works. Water must be just bearable scolding hot. Get out as soon as you feel it's getting too much. Run to bed with towels covering back. Lay and stomach and then swallow till you feel the mucus ejecting slowly up your throat. Good luck!

I have had these jelly balls since 2009...I was diagnosed with pseudamonas arruganosa by doing a sputum culture.  I live here in AZ so I guess this kind of thing is common here, but I have a very hard time breathing now and I'm still fighting it.  These clear little balls that sometimes fly out of your mouth when you just take a large breath, sometimes have a rust colored center, the consistency changes over the years.  I can actually roll one of these balls between my fingers, ( they are like little jellyfish )...this is not something to fool with.  This is not tonsil cheese...go to your doctor and get a sputum culture.  I wish you all luck

Strange, I was wondering the exact same thing! Or perhaps it's just the GMO's that our food is poisoned with or maybe a combo of both?!?! Or perhaps something concocted in a lab that doesn't have a name yet as it appears there's MANY people experiencing this yet NO explanations anywhere on the World Wide Web in regards to it!!! Theory my ass, WAKE UP people it's a REAL conspiracy!!! Some folks need to maybe look the defination of the word up. Smh

I have the same issue. I've searched a few times and this is the first time I've found anything online about it. Same as described above, little clear/ sometimes brown balls that are solid yet squishy. I generally couch a few up at a time and I do smoke weed. I stopped smoking weed for 5 months to travel overseas and after a week the issue went away. I came home and started smoking again and it came back.I always assumed it was directly from smoking but now im not so 100% seeing as a lot of people above don't mention it or say they don't smoke.I don't have asthma but i have had Pleurisy twice. Think I might go and see a doc :)

I work in the medical marijuana industry and have these same symptoms described here by all the others (clear round, sometimes stringy, gel like, mucus wads). It is something experienced very often among chronic marijuana users (pot pun, haha) especially people using concentrates and especially especially those using BHO (dabbing) oil that contains fat, lipids, and waxes. Those three things are natural found in all cannabis plants and will build on the lungs when you dab all freakin day. Used to stain brown when I smoked cigs like a dumbass perfectly clear since I cut that sh*t out. I mostly vaporize bubble hash/dry sift and proper BHO, but I do still occasionally puff joints and rip water pipes with herb (doesn't effect color of clear gel like mucus) most my friends do the same and have the same symptoms. I don't really think its a cause for concern albeit real gross, annoying, and typically unpleasant. I'm fairly certain the health benefits of daily heavy saturation of your endocannabinoid system by indulging in the use of marijuana HEAVILY outweighs this negative side effect. Strange how it happens to people who don't smoke cigs or pot though more research needs to be done on this! There is a direct correlation to how much BHO/hash oil one consumes through vaporization in a day and how much of this clear gel like mucus forms. My theory is this is the lungs clearing deposits of fats, waxes, and lipids left behind by BHO which is made with butane a non-polar solvent. Because of this polarity it does not pick up chemicals known as "expectorants" that form in the resin glands of cannabis. These expectorants are what causes the fats/waxes/lipids also found in the resin glands of cannabis to break natural dissipate off the alveoli in your lungs. So essentially if these expectorants are not present because the oils were separated from the plant using butane which does not dissolve expectorants but picks up the THC,CBD,terpines, etc causing the fats/waxes/lipids to deposit in your lungs MUCH faster and causes us to form and eject this clear gel like mucus from our bodies. Chronic marijuana use even through smoking the flower will cause this build up also just in smaller amounts. Its all relative to who the person is and how much cannabis they consume. I hope this was relevant/insightful to someone as this was a novel of a post. I'm not a doctor so I cannot claim any of this as fact but I stand behind what I stated fully I have spent a lot of time pondering, talking with others, and testing variables to draw my conclusions. It is not tonsil stones they are not see through and they do not.reek of halitosis. Is it the air saks of the lungs?I have this problem and have chronic bronchitis. They look like small seeds or they are perfectly round clear and when mashed they become stringy.

It maybe worm eggs they breed in lungs then are coughed up, swallowed and are introduced to your digestive track. Go get a sputum test.

'u get them smoking cigs,pot,and drinking stop and ull c u dont spit them up anymore I stopped just to c and it works its the only way...they are clear opaque...if urs are green or have blood in it u got something else u need to seek a doc asap u mite have cancer in ur throat had a friend with same problem with the blood in it ended up get cancer cut out.

morn after eating breakfast ! ENT looked at larynx ok ... Lpr plays into it I think !

and the doctor cant see anything in my lungs, I do however struggle to breathe,

I'm experiencing both. For white rocky stuff I don't need to sneeze, I just feel it in my throat and spit out - thonsil stones. When I sneeze I get transparent ball of some stuff, it looks like body has trapped some intruders (virus or ebola) and removed them in coffin.
